\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe broad vision of MPISSR is to be an institution in dynamic equilibrium with its social, political and economic environment striving continuously for excellence in social science research to serve as a valuable resource for society and contribute to the nation\u2019s development. Social science research is chiefly driven by two forces: (a) interest in knowledge about the functioning of society in its diverse social, cultural, political and economic aspects, and in understanding the factors that shape them; and (b) the practical needs of policy makers and managers in government, civil society and the private sector for reliable information and professional analysis. The basic aim of MPISSR is thus to engage in cutting edge research on relevant contemporary issues and disseminate the research findings for the enhancement of the existing knowledge and for the well being of the society through policy input.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
